The Tepidarium

"Tepidariums" were used by the Romans before and after sporting competitions since the year 188 A.D., the testimony for this is in the buildings and constructions that stand to this day. The "tepidarium" used to have 25 meters In length, 52 in width, about 38 in height and had a capacity of 1600 persons.
The "Tepidarium" is a room heated to 38°C with heated floor, walls and seat, the roof equipped with unique "starry sky" lighting system resulting in chromo therapy and own sound system resulting in sound therapy.
The aim of it is to prepare the body for therapies at high temperatures (steam bath, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath) thus avoiding the thermal shocks that could cause discomfort. It is used, as well, after the high temperature therapies for gradually lowering the body temperature.
